Buttery Biscuit Base
The last week has certainly been an exciting one- with the start of my new job which turned out to be a gamble which was well worth it. At the time, I found it so hard withdrawing myself from the local community, knowing that I wouldn't be 'Laura from the paper' any more but now I am already realising that it was the right step to take.
My body feels revived- I have so far spent the evening painting my toenails, listening to music, writing a letter to my grandma and now writing a blog- an evening I never could have had whilst working for the paper due to the ridiculous amounts of local events I would have to cover.
The Plus Club has welcomed me with open arms- as the first administrator to be employed for the company. I have learnt so much in just a short amount of time, but I am absolutely loving my new responsibilities and where the company is aiming and I am looking forward to being part of The Plus Club family for as long as I can possibly be.
I now know that its the people who I will miss the most from not working at the paper and the friends I have made; but really the skills I learnt as a reporter are only helping me now during the next step of my career!
With my new found time, comes time for blogging and no excuse... OTHER THAN MY UTTERLY 100 PER CENT RUBBISH INTERNET CONNECTION in Chardstock. BT assure us that our connection is absolutely fine and our neighbour seems to think hers is running great... so why when I try to watch the re-run of Celebrity Masterchef (I know... I am sad but everyone has gotta love a bit of the buttery biscuit base) on BBC I-player does it give me this....

I AM NOT IMPRESSED!!!
To reinforce my sad love for a bit of Greg Wallace and the intensity of Masterchef, I thought I would link you the famous 'Buttery Biscuit Base' Youtube hit.
Enjoy....Because I haven't got enough internet to stream it!!!!
glad to see you are enjoying life!
